Meishi is a mobile contacts application addressing the fundamental disconnect between user data ownership and actual control. The platform enables users to maintain complete sovereignty over their contact information while ensuring data remains current through peer-to-peer automatic synchronization. The Problem Current contact management solutions concentrate billions of contact records in centralized databases controlled by technology companies. Users have zero control over their data, organizations face GDPR and CPRA compliance risks, and business contact data becomes obsolete rapidly (70% within one year). The fragmentation of identity across multiple platforms creates additional complexity. The Solution Meishi implements a hybrid architecture combining peer-to-peer encryption for private data with client-server infrastructure only for public search.
